Default CFI Stalls when clutch is in

Hi i got 88 EA S 5 speed. The car stalls when i put clutch in and also dosent fire first time when starting. I know there is probably 10 reasons for this but i think the ISC is cactus. Would resseting the ECU solve this and also the slightly rough idle ?

maybe the neutral switch is playing up.... theres one at the pedal and one at the box.. it controls one of the earths for the dizzy (doesnt fire till the circuit is complete) ... but all i did was bridged both its just a pain to do the box one cos u have to jack the car up to get to it easily...

the box one is the one at the top on the passenger side and there isnt much room up there .

pedal one is just under the dash... but make shure u unhooked the right one otherwize you wont have stop lights

but the reason i bridged mine was i broke the box one when i did the clutch and the pedal one never worked and the peice of wire im using hasnt given me any probs.

i think only EA's and early EB1's had the switch. stupid idea considering it is manual not auto.

well mine aint connected anymore so it isnt a issue... cbf replacing the 2 switches if a peice of wire with 2 blade terminals does the trick, it also makes it a lot easier to roll start it if i have a flat battery cos there isnt a stupid switch cutting the igition earth

but there probably there for safety or for the computer...so i dunno why its there for
