Default Clunk in stearing

in my ef when im traveling slow eg. turning to pull into a drive way the stearing after about half a turn starts to make a terrilble noise but it only does it while on the brakes. the noise is similar to that when the cv's go on a front wheel drive

was wondering wot was causing it i was thinking stearing rack is is routed

how much do u reackon to fix it

Hmm its a werid problem, only on the brakes you say, dosnt sound like a rack problem, maybe something with the Brakes, metal on metal or something like that or a bearing on its way out

I have a simular problem, slow speed not relating to brakes though.

Check the Contoll Arms, Make sure there tensioned right and that the bush's are in good nick and lubed up. could be a easy fix

yeh i will get the shocks done just to eliminate that as the cause
may lower the car while at it
