Question question on an au

gday guys

just wondering what a TL50 is the vehicle looked like a fairlane but was really low had tickford badges ect and a great looking set of wheels that looked factory but nothing like i have seen

any info would be great as it has me wondering

all the badging was the same as a TE50 but read TL50

sorry but i dont have any pics (but i do know who owns it so i might be able to get )

same as T series just made from a Fairlane (dont start the "they're not falcons" crap anybody please).

They were the "pinnacle" of the luxo-muscle range made by Tickford. I guess the forerunner to the G8 etc, but better. As far as numbers go, there were 3 T3 TL50s made; not sure about T1 or T2 numbers. Take a visit to the Tickford part of the forum; I'd bet they'd have the numbers for everything T series.

thanks guys

i have to be honest i have never seen one before and it looked bloody nice

if i had the opp to buy one it would probably get me out of an e-series

i wish i had my camera with me to get a pic

They're pretty rare, so no surprises you haven't seen one, and if you were to buy one, they're holding their value very well, so a new B series would possibly be cheaper.

I'd love to see a series 3 TL50 go up for sale, not to buy just to see what it would go for.
