hey guys, i'm trying to locate an old ute and car that my old man once had. the damn banks took them. lol. does anyone know how to locate them or at least get info to the last known whereabouts??? all i have is model and the then rego of the vehicle.

They prob sold it at the Auctions and you wont be able to find the new owner due to the privacy act.
With the Reg. No. you could find out the engine and chassis number and locate it that way but again the privacy act would get in the way unless you know some in the know or have connections

thought that might be the case. neither i doubt would have gone through the auctions. one was an xy gt, the other was a restored 53 mainline runnin a hot 302w. thats the main one i'm after. nice ride it was. i'll post a pic up soon, it has more sentimental value. as 90 percent of peoples cars are here. lol

sorry jus been informed that the ute was sold to pay back the bank. my bad. think it was 93 or 94. from last we know a bloke bought it jus to pull his boat out of the marina in st.kilda. found that out about 2 years ago.

Oh ok, well thats a different story
Still not much hope of finding it though, if the guy still uses it for his boat try the marina on a Saturday arvo on a nice day, ask around, the ute sounds a little unique so some one might know.

You could try contacting the local area's newspaper and see if you could pop some sort of ad in or something along that line.
Sounds far fetched but that did work for a friend who was looking for her grandfather's old car. All they had was a photo, description and the original number plate. Good luck

I know its a long shot, But i actually found a car i sold (my first car) about 3 years ago on e-bay last month! it's back safely in my possession now
Goodluck finding your cars though! Are you looking at buying them back? or do you just want to know where their at at the moment?
