I've been completely nackered since about 1:00pm. The heat on the yard and jumping in and out of 80deg cars all day destroys you but it hasn't hit 45deg! Most i've seen is about 41-42.
I also need a shower haha

I sit in an office where we have two menopausal women that demand the airconditioning be on, even in winter...
I really have no idea what it is like outside until I go home, by which time it has normally cooled off anyway...

the EF overheated yesterday to the point that it wouldn't start.... lucky that i have moved all of the wires into the guards as much as possible as it would've cooked all of them if they wernt moved..

The little display in my Focus was reading about 43 degrees on my way from Victor to Adelaide yesterday.
Was nice inside the car though! As much as the aircon isn't that good and doesn't cool the car quickly, if you leave it for a while it becomes more than bearable! Years back when I worked in the vinyards in Mildura we copped the hottest day since Ash Wednesday, 48.7 degrees. Add a few for direct sunlight and reflected heat from the vine covers and felt a damn sight hotter..., felt so good to get into the river after work...

I would die if it went above 30. Here it has gone above 30 all of about 3 times since summer began. On christmas day it was 22 and raining. We are still getting minimums of 14, however it is humid and the direct sun feels really hot.

humidity is a shocker for me at work...no airflow at all in the warehouse.
a couple of us have got ice vests to freeze & cool ourselves - nothing like my 19 degree lounge room though

Part of my job pretty much has me in a big tin shed (we call it a factory) with a 1200 degree kiln that runs 24hours. That tends to warm up in the summer....but it is nice to listen to the cry babies in the office moan if the A/C isn't working all that well....I feel for them so much

Ever seen an old mercury thermometer explode ?.
Where I used to work a few years ago on a farm, went in for lunch (was 48 then) came out, looked at the remains of said thermometer on the ground then jumped my NON air con patrol and went back to work. (this was a few years ago,,you can stick the hot weather now ). Dont even get me started on old shearing sheds

Was still 31 degrees at 4.30am.
I was about to take my pillow to the lounge room and sleep there, but mum beat me to it. Now she's talking at the dog, so there is no chance of getting any sleep now.
