Default brake upgrade for xr8 ute

so i already have 6 piston brembos on my ute on the front. im looking at a rear upgrade. would a brembo front 4 piston upgrade fit onto the rear or do u need to buy specifically a rear upgrade?

A rear upgrade is needed because of piston sizes , offsets and brake bias. The only problem with running brembos on the rear of a ute is the wheel bearings will get some play in them and cause rear brake issues when they have movement and with the single piston sliding caliper this compensates the issue. Some people run shims either side of the wheel bearings to compensate this and some even run bigger modified wheel bearings. Some people do not experience problems but the problem is why utes do not come out with brembo rears anymore. The rear brembo kit is $2400 by the way. Good luck
