Default For sale section

Hi, I seem to be having trouble creating a new post in the for sale section.
Why I click on the 'post new thread' it opens a new page but nothing loads...it just stays on a blank white page. Every other section of the forum works and I am able to start a new thread or post...it's just the for sale area.
I have tried it on 3 different computers in different houses and also on my phone through safari and always the same thing. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It was working a few days ago.
Cheers

Got me mystified. I note that some people have managed to post using the forms this evening but as you are the second person to notice it and I can replicate it something has obviously broken although I can't see what.

I'll keep looking.

Cheers

Perhaps you'd like to fix it then?

It's hardly as if we have deliberately broken it just to annoy you.

I'm working on it but I happen to have a day job to go to as well which tends to restrict my available time.

That's not at all how that comment was meant, sorry if it came across that way.

OK, the template used to post Cars for Sale is back working - I haven't fully tested it but at least the page displays properly now.

Unfortunately I had to reimport the hack code so the original hooks are gone so I will have to recreate the part and misc sales one.

Shouldn't take too long.

Cheers
Russ

No problem.

I've reinstalled the part/miscellaneous form so that should now be working too.

Cheers

I've just posted one in the part sale area which worked fine

TEST POST 1

I will now go and try the miscellaneous area.

Cheers

Misc area is now working - had to create a new form for it so that it stopped posting in the Spare Parts forum - I know we had to find a way around that when we first isntalled it but it's easier to make a new template!

TEST POST

I assume you are placing it in one of the parts / miscellaneous areas. If so, then I can't see any reason why yours wouldn't - if you are still getting the same error message as above (no thread specified) it means that the system isn't retaining the thread information but then none should work.

Cheers

I presume that you:

1. Fill in the form
2. Upload an image using the button at the bottom

then ...

3a. Press submit and then get the error?
3b. Post submit, get the edit page and then submit and get the error?

Cheers
Russ

Press submit, it goes to the redirecting page, redirects me and then comes up with the error.

Before you submit can you copy the url out of the browser navbar for me and then also copy it when you are at the error.

Cheers

I just posted a test and it worked fine, Russ feel free to delete the test thread.
Campo try deleting your cookies and see if that helps, you might also try a different browser.
are you trying to post at work? if so you might be behind a firewall that's causing dramas
