Not liking the idea of Fords view that it might not get a single car to the end of the rally. If they do this, I hope they are running them side by side with the current WRC car. Ford have a very deep history of finishing in the points, the old Focus has had over 50 consecutive rally points finishes, and to end that by pressing an under-developed car in early would suck.

Still, I can't wait to see it on the roads.

Tim

Thumbs up

I will also be there , been going to rally Oz for the past 6 years, love it.

BTW Since its the last rally held in Perth we should organise a cruise.
We have not had one, and I think it is the best time to do one.
Support the blue oval.
The WRX club have been supporting Subaru for years, during the rally.
We should support Ford , I think it will be great fun.
Maybe we can have it over 2 nights one for Gloster Park(city cruise) and one for a bush leg.

I am keen to do this anyone interested.

For the focus fans around australia your welcome to join us.

Yep I'll be keen to meet up with you and Tom (and any other blue oval fans that want to join us) and watch on in awe as the greatest show on earth passes by for the final time.

Damn government!! They'd rather support an IronMan championship here in Perth than Rally Oz.... Little do they realise how many other places around the world are fighting for a spot on the WRC calender, and the WA govt is willing to throw it all away.... Im just hoping theres a massive turnout and the government reconsiders.

But yeh, a meet up should be good. We should organise it asap, coz tickets go on sale soon i think.

Tom

well im sorry to say but it comes back to ,too many Aussies being stuck up , we miss out on so much because of a bunch os stuck up people in our community. All we have to do is move next to somethink that makes noise and complain and it's gone,to bad if it was there first ,O and gee i hate to have to take a different way to work because of a road closure due to a sporting event ,that would really make me complain ,and poof the event would be gone ,but they just blame it on lack of crowd of somethink else that thay waste money on trying to fudge figures for.
