Default Ford and GM will share an engine!!

Definitely a sign the world is changing, when GM and Ford share the same engine.

In the comments section they're saying April fools.

If it is true then whats the problem, means lower R&D costs and a bigger profit margin...something any car manufacturer needs at the minute.

Yeah I actually thought it was real when I read and posted the link, it's not April 1st on my clock yet, but I realized in most places it is.... so I think it's a joke. Would make sense though.

and i quote

"here’s also another advantage: Cost. The 4.5-liter V-8’s breakthrough design eliminated the intake and exhaust manifolds and other related components, saving weight, reducing size and lowering costs by up to an estimated $600 per engine versus a conventional diesel."
