I havnt seen a female plug for them anywhere so you might need to make a new loom for it if you want it moved.

If you are looking for a place to put it the AC compressor makes a nice place

Jeez man hope you get the ol'girl back on the road, the last thing we'll want is the people of the Mountain's missing out on some E-Series candy, theres only so many Cobalt Blue ED Fairmont's out there and with one less I don't want to travel up there to show off the goods to the great unwashed.

No but seriously, heres hoping the monty stops being difficult.

yeah, they do that, some come back after two years too, make sure u have a pip (taco) signal, in the wiring loom at the back of engine near fire wall a white and pink trace or a pink with white trace wire is the taco signal. check that with a LED test light.

try the smartlock re-learn procedure, or the over ride function.

I think they are both the same procedure. After 30 mins if it has re-learned then it will always start, otherwise you would have to do it everytime to start the car (i.e. override)

is your fuel pump working? check the relay, pretty sure if thats not working properly it kills the flow from the coil

Check to see if the fuel pump is firing up though, it may be a relay - common problem.

To check if its working just turn the key to the "on" position (not start) and see if you can hear the fuel pump -it should run for a couple of seconds then stop.
