Default The need for speed.

With all the media attention to NT speed limits and their possible reduction in the near future I have decided to do another NT run in about 3 weeks.
In order to make this palatable to "the real boss" I suppose will have to do a bit of touristy stuff as well.

The problem is that as it is getting close to soggy season I really don't want to get caught. I have spoke to several tourism info centres in kunu (WA), darwin & alice but as the phone operators all seem to be backpackers who have been there for less than a year I was hoping that a few territorians on here might be able to supply some real advice as to travelling.

I was hoping to do Kununurra, Darwin, Katherine, Lichfield & Kakadu but if it is too soggy then I will head south.

In there anything new and exciting in Alice/TC?

In 3 weeks you won't have a problem it wont get soggy for another 2 months or 3.

If you're going to The Alice ask outbackjack..its been 3yrs since I was there.

As for Darwin left there in '89 and it has grown heaps since then did a visit in 2002 and was pushed finding my way around.

Just remember if you go to The Alice buy any grog you need the day before.

The 1800 prohibition is in!

Also keep your eyes wide open and as far ahead as you can when opening the Typhoon up..eagles take off in the direction their facing.

Pay very close attention if your driving at dawn or dusk thats when the roos like to come out.

If you need any other info pm me and we'll talk.
