Post BA 17's on EA-ED

Anyone got any photos of an EA/EB/ED with BA XR 17" wheels on? Wondering how they would look.

Yeh, they're 17" copies of the original BA 18's
I photoshopped some 17" copies of the BA 17''s in this thread.
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=4641
(i prefer the 17 style over the 18, just a bit more design with the edge rather than the 18's being a flat 5spoke that someone took a grinder to and put a gash in each rim so they didn't look plain)
Both rims are available in 17inch copies for the AU/BA & E-series offsets.

They're currently making them

Niko, go and suss Raz's car, same colour as mine, lopped and sitting on BA 17's that'll give you a fair idea, and you can see it in the flesh too.

The 17" copies are cheap as chips atm... The mag shop on the Gold Coast has the sets for $850 or $1350 with rubber... He knocks a bit off for cash too for so around $1300 you get new rims and rubber, thats a good deal imo

no..
but it would look odd as it would sit way too high.

if u did lower it, then u'd most likely have to lip the guards.

depends basically.
Lowered springs are generally about 250ish for a set (king springs)
and u have a choice of Lows (prolly not much lower then ur car is now)
or superlows (wheels sit about even with the guards)
then u have fitting if u cna't do it yaself, not sure on price of that.

rear bar on mine is actually from a BA XR.
