Default Speed on Tweed 7,8,9 Sept '07

The annual Speed on Tweed http://www.speedontweed.com/ was another wonderfull parade of fabulous racing vehicles from the past. I attended on the Saturday and toured the pits three times in an effort to take it all in. It's been a long time since I uploaded pics, so I hope this works.

A beautiful Pontiac GTO

Digby Cooke's pristine replica Jaguar XJ13. The original was made by Jaguar to compete against the GT40's at Le Mans but Jaguar ran out of money and the project was shelved. Digby was able to source the original drawings and made this one. It has been reported that an offer of $17m has been made for the original.

Top Pics!
I was over there on the Sunday. Great day as usual. I'm glad the weather picked up. It didn't look promising there for a while.

We need more AFF members there next year. Maybe have a get-together.
