Hey everyone, just wondering what it means when a 1600 engine overheats real quick and when its cole it starts running on 3 cylinders and blows s*** loads of smoke but the it rights itself and doesnt smoke at all.. bit it still runs kinda rough and i dont have enough money for a new engine just yet.. help plz :(

Probably blown head gasket. Do a compression test and see what youve got. All should be within about 10lbs of one another.

yeah did that today.. blown head gasket and ********* stem seals so i reckon im better off getting a new head.. anyone haver a spare 1600 or 1600 gt head i could buy?

how good are the heads? it wouldnt cost much more than 50 dollars postage would it? cheers
