Default Brrrrr It's sooo cold

I like others have i assume a "blendoor" problem that is i get an "e2" error and no heat at all. I njow know it's the blendoor only problem is i don't know how to get to it or what it looks like....HELP. Please.

if your not gettin any heat then its your thermostat which is located where the water pump is. simply unscrew 2 bolts and u'll see it from inside.

E2 means blend door. It's a bit annoying to get to, as you have to take the whole dash out. go to www.fordmods.com and click on tutorials, then click on the "adding climate control" tutorial...it's all explained there.

bicky already knows it's the blend door, not the thermostat. There are many ways that a car can lose heat. In the three years I've owned the car I've had a jammed thermostat, a blocked heater core, a stuffed heater tap, and a dodgy ambient temperature sensor (the last three all within a few weeks of each other). Isn't that climate control diagnostic feature useful! Sure makes tracing problems easier. Good luck with fixing the problem
