Hi,
I was wondering whether there was an AFF policy on events that are allowed to be posted. What are the general "rules"/guidelines for events that are allowed to be posted there? Thanks Dave |

There is a subforum for events, cruises and get togethers.
http://fordforums.com.au/forumdisplay.php?f=35 Go there and post in the appropriate state. It is moderated so it will be reviewed before being displayed to the rest of the forum members.

Yeah I do that already, but I am looking for what the policy is on posting in it.
What are the rules or guidelines as to what gets allowed to be posted in there? Where is that written (if anywhere)? |

It isn't written currently but the basic guidelines are as follows:
Events will not be approved for posting where -
Most of those currently declined are removed under either points 1 or 3. Cheers Russ

Thanks Russell,
In regards to events being of a commercial nature, can you clarify what that actually means? By saying things of a commercial nature does that mean events held anywhere that cost money to enter, such as powercruise, dyno days and track meets organised by 3rd parties? Or is it specifically events that are posted on there by the organising third party themselves? Thanks Dave Last edited by Wise; 03-08-2012 at 03:38 PM. Reason: Spelling your name right |

It is entirely discretionary on our part - I usually make the assessment based on the posting history of the individual and the nature of the event.
Cheers Russ
