ballarat roadworthy centre. think its martin drive delacombe
there fair and no bull shi7e at all... and do a good job.

other than that i do all the work on mine myself so the only time someone else gets to work on mine is when is for a rwc or i simply dont have access to the equipment i need to do the job

also i can give u a few to stay away from....

market street.... next to the libaray
grants auto electrics
central auto electrics
grevilles auto electrics
all these have fu$#%^d me over. so i return the favour

glad to be of some help

also i forgot to say its not advised to reuse the headbolts....
(they stretch and most places dont offer warranty if you dont put new ones in) so u have to replace them when you do the head.

when the head is checked get a crack test done... last thing you want is to find you cracked the head after you have fixed the head gasket.

Well thats not a good start ...

Now if anyone sends you to a place to get work done and you don't pay the bill .... It makes one of us look bad as well ..

Rod at I think it's called Rod's mechanical repairs in Alfred street (Just down from Hertford st in behind the Ampol servo accross from Sebas Tech.) is the bloke to speak to. He races an E series I6 speedway car so he knows what he's doing and he is a genuinely nice bloke, I actually think he is a member here too with an XF ('lane or Falcon, can't remember) SVO.

When I lived in Ballarat I used to take my EBII Ghia to Brendon at Sparks and Spanners on the corner of Creswick Road and Mcarthur St, near the drummond st round a bout. He always did a great job and he very much a no bull mechanic.
