oh god YES!
But who would do a job as good as Chip Foose in building cars? Howard Astill? Hillier Bros? It would need someone who has the $$$ and the celebrity status to pull it off in oz.

Yes! I want to be overhauled!
I'd nominate Adam Le'brese or Sothern Rod and Custom

there is a reason why foose's riddler show car took years to complete not a couple of days...overhaulin is a great show though much better than pimp my ride, Now an aussie pimp my ride that would be funny

I reckon a retired v8 supercat legend with some style could pull it off. Got the celebrity status and the name in the business. If brocky was still round he would be my number 1.

An Aussie Pimp my Ride would be as great as the British version.
There was to be an Australian " overhaulin " type show a few years back, a couple of cars were done up apparently. The only reason I know this, is because a couple of years back a few cars went up for sale, that had been used in the show. It never got off the ground. You need a big name, and big money to run something like this. Australian Television will never look twice at it. If it wasn't for a little law that requires x amount of Australian programming on air, we probably wouldn't have half as much as we do.

You get Australian products on Aussie cars and you'd have a show that people respected.....
Overhaulin' is a 39 min infomercial. The bondo masters and paint @ Lanzini + Bauer Brakes + Air Ride Suspension + Edelbrock + Magna Flow pipes and Finished with a Bill Dunn interior..... THe only custom one off stuff is usually the ICE and they get a small micro blurb per episode.. Aus Overhaulin' needs innovative products not sponsors

I asked Chip if he would sign a 70th birthday card for my dad, and he wrote a message, as well as drew a ford hotrod, all in the space of about 5 minutes. He was only to happy to share a photo, and gave my little boy a toy Foose John Deere tractor. Best day of my trip stateside. Cheers Steve |

I've been a huge fan of Chip's work since I first heard of him. He knows how to go over the top but stay within the theme of the car, and my favourite is his ability to draw peoples attention with very subtle modifications.
If I could have one wish, having a car done by him would certainly be on the list. |

If it were to work in Aus. Foose's name would at least need to be involved in the series, but with an Australian celebrity presenter with motorsport credentials. Eric Bana maybe?
