I need your opinion.
I would like to fit this spoiler to my XR. However I wish to determine the quality of the fit and finish of this FibreSports product (part identification number FAU2TWC). Does anyone have experience in the fitting of or living with this spoiler ? AUII Falcon XR6 HP Liquid Silver Last edited by AlfaRomeoGTV6; 31-01-2011 at 01:19 AM. Reason: Additional information |

When I lived with it it ate all my food, drank all my beer and didn't pay rent.

Bluedriver had this on his XR - it looked good. As far as quality goes, AWC/Fibresports qulaity is as good as other suppliers and above the likes of Phat Customs.

Thanks JC - yep I loved the look but imo you need have a low stance and I had 9.5" rims so with matching tyre looks fat !
Quality was fine with my carbon 1off bob tail - that I still have Sorry pics arn't that flash but gives you a idea.

TRIK67 yes she did have one of the first XR50 bars on but as you can see different shoes on and I also had the Herrod bi plane spoiler fitted to the original spoiler.
I have other pics will post when I find 'em was back in 02 when I had my beloved XR8.

Thanks for that ... looks very nice. My front bar needs painting plus i need new pods and on the inside it's abit dodgy looking ( kinda thing you need to see yourself ). I'm liking this XR50 bar the more i see it and thinking maybe opting for this instead of the original bar. |

Look here's my experience - I far prefer the XR50 bar than the original.
Put the orig in the shed - XR50 being glass - once at the beater or yourself needs to be refilled and rubbed back to make sure of a top finish ofcourse. PIA re driveways etc need to attack on angle and slow but you get used to that (same as my T3 front bar)...... I ran out of time but for the perfect job T3 sideskirts match up the front bar properly but as the above pic shows looks good anyway. Sorry back on topic - I far prefer the transformation I did with the bobtail look.

FTE217 who did your one of spoiler?
i'm interested in getting a few bits done in carbon fibre but it seems Fibresports isn't interested! i.e. a CF pursuit 250 front lip, a AU Boss bonnet that doesn't have the ridge up the middle which then vanishes as the bulge begins! a Dash centre facia, electric window bezels, engine cover, boot lid, boot trim which says falcon, It seems no-one was keen to take on making them!

Urban - AWC used to be an offshoot of Fibresports, one part was an avid forum user named Falkeen/Adam and the other was one of the Fibresport family.
Thankfully I was good mates with Adam and my car was one of the "mules" for some of the products - unfortunately carbon sheeting is very expensive and the lack of volume killed off many thoughts. Then sadly the relationship had expired and parted ways - Adam set up Kurnell Kustoms - he has a website chase him up but as he would say volume is key ! Haha I said at the time before the mould was cast for the AUboss bonnet no ridge but he wouldn't listen haha

Also there is a ebay seller doing carbon fibre lower door sill trims for the front doors maybe some other people could contact him and try to convince him that IF he did the rear door sill trims aswell as the front's he already does, he'd get more sales of full sets!
