Default Grechie's Car Returns To Dyno!

Hey Guys, at 1:30pm today, my car will be on the dyno again to get another rwkw reading, the last one i did was on january 19th were 3rd gear pulled 132.9rwkw with a 15.3 A/F ratios (leaning out) and real bad misfires( i mean bad from 3500rpm onwards)...and 4th gear got 127 rwkw with same leaning out and misfires (15.1 A/F) but wasnt revved all the way out becuase of the ignition breaking up real bad worse then 3rd, they stoped at 140km/h or so in 4th and got 127rwkw, they figured theyd just give me the 132.9 to be safe as 4th was just uselessly misfiring and leaning out....

Since then we have fixed the problem, it was due to the TFI being bypassed in the old wiring we had, ive had whole new wiring job done TOP TO BOTTOM done, whole car rewired, (From a ED Fairmont Ghia) and dashboard etc, no more misfires and certainly doesnt lean out!, timings set perfectly now, and im running a EDXR6 ecu, fuel pressure reg, n had injectors cleaned, n got a edxr6 fuel pump (i know theres no difference) new piston + compression rings, AU Headgasket (slightly higher comp?),... im going to get it on video, can't wait to see what she pulls proply now, getting 2 4th gear runs now today...

i hope i get a little more then 132.9rwkw in 4th, as the dyno instructor said the ignition was breaking up something shocking and to expect roughly 7rwkw more if i had it fixed, so i hope it gets around 135rwkw in 4th now!

will post results back up later !

Good stuff Grechie. Did you install the new looms yourself? How long did it take?

Thats good Grechie 146.2 RWKW, not sure about your dyno result, a bit smooth for my liking.
Care to tell us how much you have spent on the engine?

already came with high comp, n ACL pistons, was previously a turbo'd motor, had alotta money spent into it the guy reckon'd n he was a pro at it (had a e series turbod car there n my motor was just a spare for him till he had to sell house), reground crank, new pistons, rings bearings, high velocity oil pump etc n more, but were using it for N/A and just got new oil + compression rings + bearings n all that and a AU Headgasket with wadecam 1636, shimmed it and yea thats it with T5 and exhaust system and a 3:27.

time to take it to track !!!

WTF is that rope in the boot. Is that how the car was tied down to the rollers? It may need strapping down next time as it is riding the front roller.

You have a T5 and a 3.27:1 diff? 150kmh doesnt sound overly quick.

Awsome result mate!!

they apprently couldnt tie it from under the car anymore as it was to low to the ground? and also it was very secure were it was, and wot u mean 150 doesnt sound overly quick? its ****f to loose your license n get it impounded LOL! but yea first everyone told me not to get 3rd done as its not close 1:1 ratio, (eg 132.9 @ 120kph was old result) this time it was 146.2rwkw in 4th @ 150kph, can i ever win??? LOL
