It's not the alignment, it's common for the inside of the tyre to chew itself out when the tie rod ends are worn out.

His car isn't lowered, so it's not the lack of camber kit.

you should still get a camber kit, I only dumped my car 40mm from stock on the front & leveled out the back and I put a camber kit in cause the camber was slightly off, no matter how low you have dumped your car the camber is still going to be off, its just the lower you go the more it will be off and will chew out your tyre faster

That is from very poor wheel alignment settings - it looks exactly like the tyre wear I commonly see on the back of VT clubsports - poor toe and camber settings practically cut the corner of the tyre off.

Get a camber kit and a wheel alignment asap!

yeah some of those crapodores have some wicked A55 camber on the back, is it true they do that because they have one less control arm on the back (or something like that), compared to a falcon?

It not really a lack of control arms, its just a poor cheap design - stole from the Opel Calibra (Ask your local holden tech about how busted A55 they are...)

You certainly wouldn't want to do much driving on that tyre. LOL. It's pretty stuffed!

My front drivers side tyre was the same when I pulled it off recently so I went and got a camber kit, some new tyres and a wheel alignment.

Did that help - I have two front tyres that are chewed out like that on some rims I bought and I am tryimg to work out if it was rubbing that caused the massive tread wear or just a wheel alignment.

Both Front tyres are chewed to the steel radail like but maybe worse than snypereb's
