I'm sure this has already been said but I can't seem to find where. Is it possible to use a 3.9l block with a xr6 4.0l head? If so, is it a bad mix or a good mix together?

I beileve im doing this soon as i have a ticky head to go on my 3.9L should not be a problem at all!

i tihnk there was a thread about this some time back if this could work, as far as i know it should work fine, theres not much difference in internals...

edxr on ea 3.9 =) goes good jim mock built it"? seems to work alright =) i think someone said on here with the standard 3.9 bottom end you end up with slightly higher compression? correct me if im wrong but... |

It will lower compression. EA have dished pistons.
