That will occur with poll threads if someone votes but doesnt post anything. The other reason would be if a person posts that the administator has put on ignore.. you wont see the post.

I have an unusual problem with new posts. If I log on at say 11:00pm (as I'd do on most weekdays) and click new posts, I'll get somewhere between 15-20 pages. I start scrolling through, reading threads, ect and I might post a reply or two. I'll be on say.. page 8 by now and it's past midnight. Click next page (page 9) and get a message saying no more new posts available. Click on new posts again and will only get one page with 5-10 threads when I know there were atleast another 10 pages that I have not read yet. Why??

Okay.. I bet it'll happen again. I'm currently going through page 9 of 17 available and it's 00:16am, I logged on at 11:15pm. Let's see what happens.

edit: Yep.. it did. Clicked back page on tool bar twice to go back to page nine, clicked next at the bottom of page 9 to go to page 10 and got told no new posts. Clicked new posts and only got 1 page of new posts, when I still had 8 pages to get through.

Is there a time limit that you have to get through the pages or they'll expire? Is it something to do with the change of date?

Maybe it's a case of the counter clicking over to the new day and clearing all the new posts out and starting over from 00:00
