i leave my car at my gf's friends house to go to a party a km down the road in St Clair, NSW the ar sehole of sydney it would seem, and 30 minutes later i get a phone call that some damage has been done to my car.

now i have a portable swimming pool or a bucket for the car wash or something.

if i catch the scumbag that did this...... : :evil3: :evil3: :evil3:

deadset, do people have nothing better to do in this area? i dont really know anyone in the area, havnt made any enemies so to speak, people know my car, since i live in the neighbouring suburb, but seriously, in a quiet street at 1am, why would you????

what a joke....

from this up the bonnet

to this, first step up on top

party time

my poor car :( the bonnet is also flattened down too and part of the roof popped back out when i was driving. i cant believe it. :(

Freaking hell, thats a low effort HLC. Little punk scum have no respect for anything these days.

With such severe roof damage, it may be a write off.

yeah i got insurance. but its been repaired twice before as well. big hail storm in late 07 (some may remember it at blacktown) and my neighbour backed into it once as well and scraped up the drivers side.

i think the chances of keeping it are low. but i just bought an apartment too, so im not really in a position to upgrade either :(

That's terrible!! I hope your insurance covers it but how sad it has gotten to the point where you need to contact your insurance.

What is wrong with people these days!! Makes me angry just looking at it.

Mate I feel for ya.
I had my car parked in a "SECURED" carpark in Sufers years ago.
I came back to find 5 drunk teenagers dancing on the bonnet and roof of it.
End result I ended up in court and I had to pay out 5k in damges and fines for assult.

Really makes me sick seeing something like that. It is truly heart breaking........

Unfortunately society has really turned to in recent years with respect for other people and their belongings soon to be a thing of the past.

Exactly. Look at countries where this happens and the people are far more respectful....

But the dooo goooders will say that these people need love and lotsa hugs. :

Nothing is like that gut wrenching feeling of seeing your car violated.

If you want to keep your ride and insurance won't fix it, do it private.

because i live in the area, (and only being 22) when the kids get kicked out of the parties they go to the skate park, and when the cops break up the party at the skate park they roam the streets off their head on booze or pills or both. it really is bad out here at night, especially if there are no parties on or theyve all been broken up.

although im hearing that there is a new "crew" around, named "the grey gang" which is made of a group of 40-50 year old men of pacific islander appearance that just walk around breaking into cars and vandalising things etc HHAHAHAHAHA :togo: :togo:

Disgusting ...... this is how some get their kicks! Would be good to get hold of them to do some kicking back.

Dad (73) had is G6E sitting out the front of their house and a car pulled up at 3am and started attacking the G6 with hammers ..... 3 of them. Why? Have no idea but he heard them, yelled through the window and they took off .... in there prestine Holden. Jealousy? Bonnet, doors and front light needed fixing.

I really am sick of hearing about these things hey, not in the sense of you guys posting it, but it actually happening to you, it just hurts to see it happen to us decent hard working people. Luckily living in the sticks means the most I get is a cats pawprints in the morning. I really do dread leaving my car parked when I go shopping. I for one would be an advocate of flamethrowers along the undersides of the car hehehehehehe

Man thats a rough. Id like to say a lot of things, but they wouldnt get past the swear filter. That is just plain low, ever jealous deadbeat nohopers, totally maggotted holden drivers or derro 14 drunken youths. Either way its a dog act.

And unfortunately with an AU, it could very well be a write off. I guess i worst comes to worst you could cop the insurance payout and then rebuy the car back from the insurance company, after all its your car and you know the history.

That sucks, I had a toothless no hoper kick the door in on the BF in a pub car park a month or so ago, still waiting for the cops to pick him up and charge him, so I dont have to cough up the $1000 excess myself, I feel your pain..
