The 200,000th post was posted earlier this morning to mark another milestone in the growth of the on-line community here.
The comparison below shows the growth rates between this and our predecessor forum (the only direct comparison we have) and it is a credit to all concerned that such rapid growth has been managed with very little difficulty. Likewise the membership base has surpassed my wildest expectations for this year to be at 5,500 already. Again a comparison between the first 6 months here and there is a gauge .... In the next few weeks we will be looking to migrate the site to a server with greater capacity before we have any perfromance issues rather than wait until after they happen but we will attempt to make the transisition as seamless as possible. Keep the suggestions rolling in - the site is a Ford community and the members are the ones who should determine how we continue to grow and develop for the benefit of all. Cheers Russ

Great result and well done to all concerned. Likewise Russ I am surprised at just how quick FFAU has taken off, that said it was something that was always bound to happen. Discussing Falcons and Utes on an American site just didn't seem quite right.

Yeah well done to all the administrators and moderators.
I'd have to say this site is much friendlier, and better presented then the other fordforums. As said aussie site, for aussies, with aussie cars. The way it should be. Well again congratulations to all involved, and bring on the next milestone.

I would like to thank the Administrators, who took ahuge risk for us all to put togeather a community for us to enjoy. Without their continued efforts none of us would be enjoying the site that numerous members rely on to obtain "real" information about a topic near and dear to us all "Our Ford, our pride and joys"
I would also like to thank the numerous members who have helped me out a number of times. Thank you all. Regards Steven

Time for the admin staff here @ AFF to stand tall & recieve a pat on the back (just so we know where to stick the knives next time they make a decision that inconveniences someone even in the slightest.)
Seriously guys(& gals) thanx HEAPS for allowing AFF to become the success story it has & help guide it to even HIGHER successes in the future!!! In the meantime, I'll continue on my merry little way, posting away, helping those that I can along the way & generally help with flying the FORD banner high!!! :eclipsee_ :eclipsee_ :eclipsee_ |

As a moderator on the other Fordforums, I would like to extend a genuine congratulations to Russell, Gary, Jeff and all those that put the hard effort in for AFF. I do miss having many of you over on the other forum but realise that times have changed and this forum has developed into another wonderful Ford community.
