Hi all, I am in need of a rear engine mount for my 99 model Cougar. It is an auto and the mount fits between the firewall and the rear of the engine. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Trev |

I replaced mine recently and it wasn't that much however if you want to do it yourself then suggest you visit this site and check under Mercury Cougar and they will ship it to you in a couple of days.
http://www.rockauto.com/ I get all my parts from them and can recommend them highly. |

.. ... it's cheaper to get them here, and you really don't get things here from them in two days.. I've tried . .the best I could get was 4-5 unless I paid stupid EMS charges which made it worse... The cheapest the American company can do Rockauto can do works out around A$61 with slow frieght or A$77 with EMS..
Costed here already with next day delivery is like A$54 w/ gst & delivery. OR try local - www.usafordsp.com or a used one from www.ftgautosalvage.com.au ....either way is cheaper then the USA with delivery etc.or if buying out of the USA buy ALOT of stuff and the international delivery cost might come down but don't go over $1000 including your freight charges or you'll get hit with tax's, duty and gst as most of it is not made in the USA. |

This information is great, I have posted an enquiry with FTG Auto Salvage a couple of weeks ago but have not received anything back. I have bought a lot of gear in from the states with very few problems so I will contact both and see what is on offer. I would like to do the job myself so it would be interesting to know if their are any hassles.
Thanks Trev |
