Focusites,
I suspect I have a dodgey coil pack and will find out tomorrow. If it is sus, is there any real benifit, for a daily drive vehicle, in upgrading to an after-market brand coil pack and leads? Screamin Eagle or similar? any suggestions? Fredo

I haven't heard good things about aftermarket coilpacks. Motorcraft is probably still your best bet
But I'm a huge fan of Magnecor leads. Never heard a bad word about them Even had it confirmed by an RACV technician, who when checking my engine problems last week, and suspected some potential lead arcing, said "but I doubt it. These are really good leads"

I upgraded my coil packs in my GTR to Splitfire, however I am not sure if there are ones that suit Focus engines though. But I never had a problem with them.
As for leads.... I didn't have any. But Magnecor sound alright from the looks of it.
