Hey guys, i'm confused as hell. I own a 1983 Ford Meteor GB
I really want a free flow exhaust, more for a bit of extra power then sound. How would i go about buying an aftermarket exhaust and are there some laser or more popular models that have the same kind of configuration as the Meteor, just to make purchasing easier??? Also is there anything else that does not require complete engine rebuild or new gear box, that can increase my power. If i'm in the wrong thread sorry and can you tell me where i should be posting. thanks heaps |

2.5" cat-back with sports muffler will be sufficent but wont add anything noticable to power. also high flow cat. if its an auto id put a hotdog in there aswell to stop cabin drone.
new plugs & leads, cold air intake, extractors that will all help |

Thanks a lot mate
I'm doing some research into the exhaust and looking for prices. One other thing that has been on my mind is if i should install a turbo. Everyone i speak to gives me different answers. The car is manual, but i'm going to put an earlier models motor in it with a twin carbie. If u can give me some pros and cons about a turbo it will be very much appreciated. Thanks again |
