G'day all, Ive finally got a bit more cash to spend on my car, and am thinking about getting an LSD, mate of mine got a second hand 3.45 out of an XR but hes had some problems with it. Although his car his a fair bit quicker off the mark, anyway has anyone got any suggestions on what i should be looking for??

3.45LSD is a good option.
still a comfortable ratio when used with a manual or auto

3.7's are good.. theres not a huge difference between 3.45's and 3.7's..
Id say go for the 3.7's gives you a nice sting off the line but dosent hurt on the highway.. |

3.23 to 3.45 wouldnt be a worth it unless your so hung up on have an LSD, even then i dont think its worth it..
go for 3.7's or 3.9's, ive got a 5spd with 3.7's and im wishing I got 3.9's. As for price id be looking between $750 and $1100 anymore than $1200 id say your getting ripped off unless your going billet axles and stuff lol. |
