Default Wheels On Wide Bay

Sadly this event has been cancelled for 2010:( :

1965 XP Falcon, 250 cross-flow, 276 hp @ fly, 309 ft/lbs torque, headers, 2 1/2" system, Holley 570 Avenger series, power assisted front disc brakes, 17"x7" alloy Showwheels, Federal 959 RS-R semi-slicks, 8" LSD, Koni heavy shocks, lowered 3", modified LCA's to get -3 camber, +3 castor, oversize front sway bar, floor shift, full cage, OMP race seat.

Latest news is that it's still on. There was a question mark over who was going to organise it, but that's been sorted.

I got an email saying it was on, then last week I got another from the organiser saying not to put in an entry as he was sick and that the event was cancelled???

This is the reply I got from Ian Crozier:

"Simon, I was the event secretary for the proposed event this year. I have stood down from that position and have returned the expressions of interest forms and monies that had been received. At this time the sprint event is definately not on. Ian Filmer is organising a round of the QLD Motorkhana Championships and a car show at the Maryborough showgrounds for the weekend of 26th/27th June. I suggest that you watch the wheelsonwidebay web site, for any change to the status of the sprints.

awwww that sucks!!!! hopefully it'll just mean a change of date...then i might be able to come, last weekend in june is stocktake time at work, ruling me out usually.

Hopefully if its on i will have my XC ute all finished and registered by then. Would be a nice edition me thinks
