Hey guy's I know this has been covered in abuild threads but I simply cannot find it I have tried for the last hour or so.
I fitted my lc1 wideband gauge setup today into my series 2 xr8 and instead of getting more bungs put into the exhaust I want to wire the wideband to the ecu. which wire at the ecu do I use ie colour. Or have you ran the wire back into the engine bay and to the oxy sensor plug? Cheers for any help.

All good getting another bung put in, tuner advised against running it to ecu.

What headers do you have? Do you know if they can drill and weld the bung with the headers in place? (Keeping the wideband in a similar orientation to the stock ego). Could you post some pics when you get it done? Cheers.

I wired my wide band LC-1's both straight into the back of the ECU took a bit to figure out which pins and then I piggybacked the wire. I see you've put an extra bung in instead anyway but just wondering what the reasoning was that your mechanic suggested to not wire them into th ECU?
Cheers, Rhys

Thats good to hear that the narrow band output of the lc1 works well.
Im thinking of buying a wideband soon as part of my baby steps into ecu programming, but i would like to start off with just one bank for now if possible, to keep costs down. Do you guys know if one wideband gauge can interface to 2 wideband egos? If so, how do you select chan 1 or 2? Thanks, Andrew.

Andrew, I am not aware of a gauge that will do to inputs, but that does not mean that they do not exist. If you do some research, and find one, let us know!
In saying that though, the inputs to a gauge are basically power, earth, signal and maybe dimmer. The signal is taken from the analogue 2 output of a LC1. It would not be hard, if you have 2 LC1s to install a switch to switch between the two signal sources. Not ideal, but would work. Cheers Stu
