Hi All. 2 questions:
I'm trying to understand what it means when on the bottom left hand corner of the trip computer display, it shows a number and an upward arrow adjacent to it. I'm guessing the number means the next gear number ? And not sure under what circumstance it displays that number. Can't find anything in the manual for this. Can anyone assist ? On the bottom of the Information Display (above the temp gauge), I often see the letters 'TA' and 'TP' - sometimes one but not the other. Again I can't find anything in the manual. Can anyone explain what these values indicate ? Thanks. |

IIRC (it has been over a year since I had/drove my ST) the arrows indicate when the car thinks you should change gear (either up or down) to achieve best fuel economy. There is also a screen (that I recall was a little tricky to find) that provides you with a measure of how well you are doing from an economy point of view, using petals on a flower.
The TA and TP may be an indication of Traffic Alerts on teh sat van system. Not sure what TP stands for, but you should find this detail in the SYNC handbook as opposed to the car handbook. Hope that helps, paul.

Thanks both for your replies.
Re. the Travel Advice (TA) notifications, are these available in Australia ? How do we set the cars system to receive them ? Thanks. |
