I cracked a tooth a few weeks ago and had a temporary crown fitted waiting for my proper one .. But I think I've damaged the temp one. I can see it has a hole in it and I have a toothache ( they removed an old filling to fit the temporary crown ).
Any suggestions on what to use to either fill the hole, or kill the toothache until tomorrow? |

Mercyndol is what stopped an excruciating toothache that my ex had. Cost only a few dollars from the chemist.

Whip down to your nearest Bunnings store grab a bag of rapid set concrete mix take with water and harden the f...k up
No just kidding, not sure if Bonjela would be strong enough or not but if you have a chemist nearby try there, I used some stuff years back which I'm pretty sure had cloves and other ingredients in it. As others have suggested cloves is very good for numbing tooth pain. I would also try to avoid hot and cold drinks as these can aggravate as well, hope you get it sorted soon |

A nice glass of ice water will numb it right up, followed by a bowl of ice cream.

Not directly related to the thread.
I find it really interesting that many people who espouse the risk of cancer-causing 'toxins' and divulge in 'therapeutic' measures to counteract these, also smoke and drink without a second thought. |

Leave the oil of cloves at the chemist, i've used it and it tastes like pus and doesn't workas good as other stuff. I've had heaps of teeth problems over a long period. The best drops to get is nyal(spelling) tooth ache drops and a pain killer that works is tramal. I was on the waiting list for 2 years to get my 3 remaining wisdom teeth and another surgicly removed because of were my nerves are and put up with a hell of alot of pain. But made it through with the 2 mentioned above.
