Default eb gt bonnet scoop , connected/fake

curiosity does the bonnet scoop on the gt work similar to the shaker setup on a xy or is it just for show . if it's real anybody got pics of the engine bay and how it works

It does actually have a function although not like a shaker. It is designed to help airflow under the bonnet and reduce temps. Apparently it, along with the sode vents does a good job at this.

Not thinking of the ELGT are you jase? Im cant recall ever seeing holes in the bonnet of the EBGT when the lid was open

I have seenit doen to a few E-series falcons but I am not really a fan. IMO looks out of place and people seem to be putting shakers on anything these days.

Um if you are trying to run a pod up to the imaginary hole in the bonnet from a EB GT middle vent/hump then I wouldn't.

a) thats alot of piping
b) hot air rises

I think you would be better copying the 2003 Mustang Mach 1, the same idea the guys used to put the shaker on the BA. Was thinking of this myself to make my XR8 with the GT kit a bit different than all the other GT copies. :

c), there most definatley isnt enough room for a pod box under the bonnet under the vent

would be fine if there was no engine!
