What did you have done? Looks like the short and long runners have been opened into one big runner. Is it still a functioning BBM?

No the BBM is not functional. As you said the long and short runners were milled out into one big runner. Thanatos and I had this idea from a while back when we first ripped the butterflies out, and we then found out that dynomotive were doing the exact same thing to their manifolds. According to Marc (owner of dynomotive), they bench flowed the manifolds with various setups and found by far the biggest difference came when they opened up the bottom runners in this fasion. I may in the future make up a custom plenum for the top but this will suffice for now :P

Doing that to a manafold on an N/A car wouldnt be an overly good idea, but its good for blown applications.

You beat me to it mate, i remember we were both thinking of doing the exact same things with regards to jet hot-ing.

Top work there mate!

I have been thinking about getting the rocker cover done aswell but i think it'd look like a bit much. All up it cost me $300 to get everything done, and that includes the cost of the courier. Definately worth it! Unfortunately it's gunna be a fair while before i put it all on...

Looks very sleek Top job done there

I would probably get the rocker cover coloured, otherwise your engine bay is going to require protective eyewear to look at :yeees:

She'll come up a beauty!

I have noticed the EF-AU intakes actually seem to always feel quiet cool, my rocker cover can be very hot to touch after 50k's of peak hour traffic with slight bursts of speed down the monash, but the intake is only ever slightly warm.

You should have cut off the fuel rail mount points seeing as it looks like the injectors ports are still blanked as I assume you are on straight gas only.

Looking hot Steven, that's a work of art. Can't wait to see it installed (I'm sure we all have a few parts awaiting installation, nothing wrong with that. )
