Default A Sh*T deal!!!

Well, it seems that my family just can't seem to find ANY luck of late.
My old man has been rather ill of late, having spent a LOT of time backwards & forwards off to hospital, & things have turned decidedly worse today.
My mother came home from visiting him in hospital to discover that some *insert appropriate expletives here* thought it would be a great idea to kick the front door in of their home & ransack the place.
After a quick look to see where they had been, & getting in contact with the authorities, it seems like theyve taken little of real significance, except a few items of sentimental jewellery, a mobile phone & the oldmans set of keys(house, shed, car etc) The house had been resecured with a few more security mods to be carried out tomorrow. The crime scene fellas 'should' be venturing out tomorrow to see what they can do, not that I hold a lot of hope in the fact that they'll be able to do anything anyways.
About the hardest bit will be going through & replacing all of the locks, due to the theft of the keys. Which brings me to the real point of this thread, ie replacing the locks on the BA. They have the keys, but car was not home at the time. Has anyone had the need to replace the locks in their BA? could they get 'ALL' the barrels in a kit? or are they seperate parts? I know I'll have to chase up new keypads & recode the cars locks(easy enough to do)

Wulos, you can buy the two Barrel and Keys (Ignition and door) for the BA. You WILL need to have the key coded for the car which will necessitate you going to a Ford dealer? Maybe Kloster Ford or Grawills.

Please PM me for a price? They retail for $300.00.

I helped rebuild the door frame today. Will not be nearly so easy to try theat same trick next time(yeah I DO realise that it'll only move them to another access point, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do)
The crime scene cop came out & dusted the place down for prints, but came up with nothing. She did mention why this is the case, but I won't be repeating any of that here to make any potential lowlifes job any easier(not that I should really worry as lowlifes are banned from AFF as part of the sites T&C's)
On a slightly brighter note, we did find the missing set of keys (which saves things a bit as no need to worry about replacement of locks etc) So apart from some loose change they got away with a camera(wasn't one of mine so theyre lucky - woulda had to call in the anti terror taskforce & hunt em down relentlessly if it was one of mine!!) & a few pieces of jewellery. This small amount of loot theyve gotten away with won't save them however if they are caught.

Mate,
I don't know if your parents have house insurance, they may be able to claim this expense of replacing locks on the home and depending on the policy maybe the car, (check with the insurer) as the keys were stolen, if not it may be a claim you can make on the car insurance at least the car locks.
Hope things get better mate

Much to my dismay (and the rest of our family of course) the lowlife scum have returned and cleaned out what they didn't get the first time (despite our attempts at increasing security)
I can only imagine what it is that drives such thieving scum as these - especially to knock over the house of an elderly widow on christmas day, and steal objects that are basically only of sentimental value 12 months after the death of my father.
Merry Christmas ********

What goes around comes around. I know it doesnt mean much to you at this time, but know that one day they will get what's coming to them.

I just hope what is coming to them is a hundred more times painful than anything you and your family (and the families of others they have no doubt hurt) have had to endure because of their selfish lowlife ways.

This really sucks!
They'll get caught - eventually. They sound way too cocky not to.
I'd have them locked up of a night and doing repairs or odd jobs for the elderly during the day.
