I have had it done by ASL and I can provide you with some of the information. This information was provided to me by ASL.
I believe the maximum output is 1V. I am driving JVC power amps and the attentuators on the amps are about halfway. I have Front L-R Rear, L-R and Subwoofer outputs. It all or nothing. If you want line out, the internal power amps are disabled. The trigger is a voltage applied to the wire when the ICC is on. It works well with both my JVC amps. As I have mounted the amps on the underside of the parcel shelf, I purchased good quality RCA cable with double shielding. I also used very good earthing including an addition each from the battery negative to the chasis. Result - no interference noise at all. You could say it acts like any other head unit. Price - if you already have a colour ICC, then the conversion is relatively cheap. I think it is on the web site. All the above information applies to the colour ICC. If you have the basic sound unit, I believe they can't provide a separate subwoofer output. If you want any further infromaton contact Fadi at ASL Logistics. fadi@asllogistics.com I hope that helps Good luck |

Going by the above, I'm assuming you have the amps upside down on the parcel shelf. If this is that case I would re-consier that option. Amps have a heatsink on the top side for a reason and I would guess that you would render your amps prone to more heat and diminshed response resulting from the heat rising? Quote:
I thought that was the point of this section of the forum so all people could see the response? Thanks Guys! Chris. Last edited by XR.Turbo; 14-06-2007 at 03:05 PM. Reason: typo |

please see answers below Hi Guys, Just looking at you site and was hoping for a bit more info on the Low Level Output conversion you do. What voltage are the outputs? 1-2 volt peak-to-peakI gather there are 3 sets (Front, Rear, Sub?) Is there an option to still use the speaker level outputs for one channel and low level for the others? You can have up 2 five RCA’s-2 Front, 2 Rear and if your car currently has a Subwoofer we can add this line also. What do you use for a trigger for an amp? (there is a mention on your site about this) A circuit we place in unitAny problems with noise etc, or does it just act like any other H/U with RCA outputs? We have never had a complaint about noise.Any other info you can provide? That’s about it. How much? $220 Sorry for all the questions Thanks! Chris.
