Default RHCP - Stadium Arcadium

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the album yet
either we don't like them... or there aren't many chili peppers fans here.
I got it the day after it came out, $25 for 2 cd's NOT bad at all.
I'm loving it, the first CD I find sounds like a mix between 'By the way' and 'californication' while the second sounds a bit more like their older stuff.. more funky.
Any fans of Jimi Hendrix here? The guitar solo's are short but sweet... very hendrix sounding..
If you haven't got it or haven't listened to the chili peppers before I really recommend you go grab this album. Truly a work of art from THE greatest pop/funk rock band.

Though I reckon it is their best album to date!

yeah, its a top album!
got it the day it came out, and havent stopped listening to it.
the chili Peppers are pretty much the only rock music i can stand listening to.
they are definately a band that dont follow trends and have their own style

i love their older, more funkier stuff.

I agree with that, I reckon it's a mixture of Californication and Blood Sugar. 2nd CD doesnt interest me a great deal but i found the 1st one the funky one with no doubt a few singles that will come of it

It is a great album, definately the first CD is the better of the two, good to see that they are going back to some of their older style, By The Way was way too "easy listening" for me. It was good to hear Flea go nuts like he has on previous albums.
