I dont think foxtel would be too fussed, as they're not foxtel channels - they are the raw channels from the US which foxtel cobbles its channels together from (i.e our ESPN is a mix of ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN outdoor, ESPN whatever).

I know that HBO is on cable over there... and not just basic cable... so i'd question the legalities of providing it FTA!! Im sure theyve got something worked out

I installed it but it takes ages to stabilize. Then I get a clear picture for a few seconds and it's again. Oh well it was worth a try. Some much for ADSL.

Do you have a firewall?

I've got ADSL 1500 and it works great....but it does take a while to load...however once its going its fine.

I had to allow ports in my adsl, otherwise it was really slow.

Yeah... god forbid anyone should pay for their content these days

I would be interested to see how people have come to the conclusion that receiving copyrighted channels is by any means legal It may well be... but opinion seems to suggest otherwise at the moment:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TVUPlayer

"The legality of this application is not known. As the list below suggests, there are a number of channels carried by this software which could breach copyright laws"

Veeerrry bordlerline IMO.
