Have searched on this but not found much info so sorry if it's been covered before.
The AUII/III XR clusters have fake "on/off" oil pressure gauges, and the coolant temp gauges stay in the same spot between 92-100+ degrees. The AU1 (and older) have proper gauges. Is it possible to swap an AU1 cluster into my AU2 to get real gauges? Oil pressure switch would also have to be swapped for a sender. Or does the ecu fudge the data before it is sent to the cluster? I've had an AU1 cluster in my AUII for testing purposes and it worked fine
But srsly AU1 clusters suck with their terrible orange LED screen and wonky lookin needles 8-ball says: Don't do it
