Default to part out or not to part out

hey guys i have had some bad news from my panel beater today so i will be looking into selling my NL N9 color code 1998 V8 4 speed auto fairlane giha.

just woundering what the car will be worth as a whole car unregisterd for resto or for parts car or even to part out (id prefer not to i have very little time as i travel lots for work), it is complete with some extras.

i am only asking for help and ideas at this point as i really what to see what its all worth and if there would be interest in this from any one

heres the run down of the car specs:

- 5L V8 with 4 speed auto only done 130,000km's been a great reliable cruiser

- custom and complete el XR8 series2 front bar, bonnet, head lights & indicators (standard front bar with the badge area removed from the grill and also the lower mouth opening was enlared plus it has modified ghia front bar strips easily removed to put in red ones)

- full cuppachino leather and wood grain interior complete and in good condition

- brand new front seat belts in cuppachino (still in boxes last ones that ford could get me for this model)

- slotted DBA front rotors with bendex ultimate pads (still in boxes)

- slotted DBA rear rotors with bendex ultimated pads (20km's old)

- brand new whiteline front and rear sway bars (just fitted last week undriven)

- some new nolathane sway bar bushes (just fitted last week undriven)

- new front monroe shocks with pedders sports rider springs low (only done 20km's)

- 5000km's old rear pedders sports rider shocks and springs low

- 16x7 el series2 tickford xr8 wheels x5 4 with brand new tyres and one very good spare tyre

- clear side indicators

- tow bar

there is heaps more but i can't think of it now so i will post more as i think of it.

so please guys and gals if you could let me know what all this stuff is worth and ill make my mind up from there to see what i will do

well the car is actually has nothing wrong all panels are straight and rust free except for the sils and a few small wear and tear marks from sand blasting underneath (country car) but i am not interested in reparing the rust in the sils as the car is 11 years old.

i would rather just look into spending my money on a newer car than chasing panels that are obsolete from ford for an older car and besides as i said before i dont have a lot of time to do this my self as i work off shore and interstate.

as for photos ill try and get some on the weekend if that helps

Neither did I from the looks of it!

Still given that you're quoting terminal sill rust, meaning it's probably elsewhere as well, I can't see it fetching much.

You will definitely get more parting it, but it's an absolute pain, and drags on for months - trust me!

Haha it took 2-3 months for me to get rid of my wreck.

Great learning experience, but terrible thing to do over and over.
