I have a 2006 zetec and want to fit an after market towbar like a hayman rees. Their installer book says that it will only fit a ford focus without a body kit. Does anyone know if the standard zetec falls under this catagory.
I would have thought not. The rear skirt looks only slightly lower than a standard. Cheers |

my uncle had a big problem fitting a hayman rees to his 06 zetec. it had to go back to the towbar place like 4 times to be alligned properly to it wouldn't either push the bumper bar up so it rubbed on the rear door, or sagged down too low.

Might have to cut the skirt a little but that's no problem other than cosmetic.
The question I have is is it a manual? What do they tow like - the clutch seems too soft for pulling a boat up a ramp for example.. I'd hate to replace a clutch every couple of years. |
