Im a bit surprised to see at 1024x768 that the threads need to be scrolled across to see all the text.

my work pc is a mile away from my chair and I have to have it on 800*600 on a 19" monitor to read it easily, try that for scrolling... home is 1280*1024 and it is fine
Laptop is 1024*768 and is also fine, no scrolling required unless some goose posts a huge picture
