Hi guys, having seen a few xr5's around ive started to like the spoiler. Just wondering if anyone has added an xr5 spoiler to an LS zetec and is it worth doing.
Things to consider is: Price for painting, fitting etc looks rice factor fit Just after some oninions for now before i jump into anything. Cheers. |

I don't think anyone's actually added a spoiler to the standard zetec, it certainly won't look out of place so if you are mad keen on the style upgrade (over other performance options) then i say go for it.
You can either chase down Adam as Photn has mentioned or try this link... compare it to parts from Ford... i suspect it'd be cheaper to import. http://www.european-parts.net/catalo...roducts_id=461 Cheers, Miyagi |

Good memory Sean, yeh ive added a XR5 spoiler, one on the first mods i done. Don't like the crappy standard spoiler on the zetec so i purchased one from european-parts. Cant remember how much it cost me but im very happy with it.

just rang ford, one dealer said its impossible because they are different tailgates and the other quoted $650 for the part and around $1-200 for painting.
Silly question, but would doing this aftermarket void warranty? Also, raymon, roughly how much did it cost you to get it painted and fitted? |

From www.european-parts.net the XR5 spoiler costs AU$248 and then you would have to add shipping to that. I'm sure about 300-400 for painting, is a reasonable price.
