Default Fg's 1/4 mile times?

Have any fg's been run at the track and what were the results.I trust our readers more than magazines or ford themselves..

Mainly the turbo equiped cars and v8's.

BPR had their Boss290 manual XR8 ute down the quarter, it was still fresh though, 13.91@102 mph.

Then with a tune it did 13.64, with clutch problems.

Saw that!! These cars are the best bang for buck.So far they are said have 260rwkws stock.Tune up some boost to 14psi and they are getting 300rwkws!!
Exhaust not really needed from what ive heard so far. Good to see the claimed power figures are proving themselves at the track.

Has anyone ran a stock FG down the quarter?

And I'm not sure how this would void warranty???
Can someone please explain?

If you have any driveline/engine breakages and if they see you at the strip you could get hassels, they have been known to have scouts there sussing out cars and taking rego's. Easiest way around it is just take your number plates off.

Hopefully one day Ford will see the light and toughen up their Weak driveline! These cars these days are making great power and the driveline is what kills the idea of me thinking about putting a new FG down the track.

A mate will be putting his G6E turbo down in the next 2 weeks.

Hope the single spinner can cope.

What a night.

Rained Held off all night while keeping the temps right down too. First run was a 15.10 with massive traction loss.

Any way got about 10 odd runs in, each run was better as the night went on.

12.89 @ 108mph WITH A 2.12 60FT TIME.

Thats Bog stock with filter, single spinner and only 1600km's on the clock.
The only thing that wasnt stock was the rear rubber, they were 16" stock rims with 235 BF goodrich tyres (normal road tyres).

I am now thinking of refinancing and buying one, what a beast.

That's nuts. Well done. Already matched the quickest stock BF-F6... without LSD.

the quickest fg's in stock form seem to be the ones with the soft suspension. GT-E seemed to perform better than the GT and GT-P in testing.

G6E-T is certainly proving to be a real force.

Thats awsome - demonstrates the variance in times we see in mags.
They sure feel faster than the mag times indicate and sub 13's prove it.
once again, awsome!!!

It did take 5 runs to match the 13.3 as traction is a real issue.

The 12.89 was one without any wheel spin and also the only time under 13.00.

It was mainly a small stall up to 2000rpm and then letting it go. The season has just started at the motorplex so the track is in good nick.

Mods will be starting soon enough.

Will get a few pics up soon.

The best LSD will only give about 45% drive to both wheels, be better off spending $600 and getting a LockRight Powertrax NoSlip Locker for it from the USA....

thats one hell of a stable you have in your sig there mate. i'm tipping the fg f6 won't stay in the 12's for too much longer going by the standard you have set with the others

How much did your FG F6 on the dyno before tune? Would have been nice to see what it could do down the track stock as well.
