Default Glen Innes ford vs holden day

Interested in finding out how many clubbies are attending the Glen Innes weekend for the Land of the Beardies festival. I know we are departing from Redbank at 6.00am. I also know that we have to sign in for the Ford VS Holden show by 11.00am. Do you think we have left enough time to get there, I thought it was about a 5 hr drive. Others may know better than me.

Last year we had about 12 - 13 cars. This year it looks like we will have about 18-20. We will have plenty of time to get there as well as have Breakfast along the way. :

I am trying to see if I can make it to this trip - have to get a shift swap at work. Should I tell somebody that I am a maybe?!?! Will be able to confirm tomorrow.

6.00am start is a bit concerning means I have to leave at home at 5.00am which means I have to get up at 4.00am is that even humane?? At least it won’t be as cold as the Sunday morning of the Qld 300!

Cheers, Tori

G'day. I was just wondering if any other club member its going to Glen Innes from Toowoomba. If so we may be able to cruise to warwick together to meet up with the others.

Default Glen Innes Ford / Holden Car Show

Glad to see you are coming to the GI Car Show again this year. We met some of you last year we had the Red XW GTHO 2 . Ahh but this year have bought an XR8. Will be good to catch up with see the faces we had a drink with.( Not that we can remember alot ) Also just to let you know is takes approx 4 - 4 1/2 hours to Glen Innes. Also I think you should check the time it starts as the flyer that Kerrie the organizer sent has on it they are starting to assemble from 9 am. The meet and greet is at the other end off town this year at the Club Hotel just up from the RSL club but I think alot of us will be also going back to the Imperial Hotel where we were last year.(After many drinks at the club though) Need any further info email me and I can give you contact numbers for Car show. Cheers

Is there a total count on just how many clubbies are going as yet? (and yes I mean cars) I know you said around 20 but just thought it would be good to maybe put up names so we all know!!!!! Just a thought (probably a bad one

Oh and I would love for someone to put my sticker on for me before we head off if anyone wouldnt mind doing that (Im hopeless at getting things straight without bubbles) :togo:

cheers

I can highly recommend the Club Hotel in Glen Innes... $25 a night, with breakfast, last time I stayed there!
