Default more black

most of the lower section of the dash is now trimmed up, the console is done and the console lid is now done in suede (not as good as i'd hoped but will do for now :P )
need to do the small sections just above the console, and do something about the power window switches.
then some black carpet, i think the carpet will make a major change to the look fo the interior as its still such a large expance of grey.

so you had never done trimming before you gave this a shot?? it looks unreal an i bet its cheaper than 2500 for a custom leather re-trim. suede is better in my opinion. you should post up a diy or something when your done for the dash that looks insane.

after carpet i reckon the seats and centre console lid need retrimming in the same dark suede.

That's awesome. Honestly the best custom interior I've seen - but don't let the kids touch it.

nah never done this kinda stuff before, just thought i'd have a go, figured 'it can't be that hard'

console lid will stay for now, its in suede that matches the dash, but just isnt perfect...
seats i've got a few options, but sooner or later they will end up black.

door handles were done with the VHT vinyl dye, many people have done dashs etc with the stuff and it seems to last, its been on a few weeks and no signs of ware where my leg rubs against it.

aah, its about $115, doesn't come with underlay, but i have 2 layers of carpet in my car.

my old GLi carpet and the Ghia carpet on top, so i'll pull the Ghia carpet out, and put the black carpet ontop leaving the GLi stuff underneath again.
