Default New section?

Im noticing a lot of threads regarding music and related material (bands, musical likes, etc)

Worthwhile maybe to create a music related forum for it?

You've got The Bar, The Pub - maybe The Sound Desk.....(just an idea).....

Cheers,
XA Coupsta

That's a tough one, don't mind the odd thread on driving music, or latest Abba remixes but that's as far I would go at this stage.

Its relevance to Fords would also be a consideration.

The DM forums would be a good place to discuss music topics....

music threads fit into The Bar.
dont really see the need or point of a new section.
thats my opinion though.
if you want to see what other people think then maybe ask a Mod if they can attach a Poll to this thread?

First a music section then a section dedicated to rubbishing police then next why not one to rubbish certain car brands oh and lets not forget to add in truck drivers & cyclists...

I am sure majority of those topics are covered regularly in other sections as it is!!!!!

The list is endless :SaiyanSmi

Can you guess what I voted??? :

On the new section, I personally have little in hearing about Kylie Minogues latest hit.

Yeh no probs at all.

I thought this was a place for suggestions hence I made one. If suggestions are jumped on from such a great height - there wont be many made at all.

On one hand you'll probably think that is good - but on the other hand - is that a great long term view? Will it allow the forums to progress and evolve?

Anyway - issue over, its not biggie at all.

This is a place for suggestions, but that also means it is a place for those suggestions to be discussed.. I don't think anyone 'jumped on from great heights', we all just threw in our few cents worth...

Suggestions are going to be discussed and there will be those that don't like what is suggested and those that do - hence a discussion!!

Maybe show your support for the Forum and join as a Donating Member, then you can do as Laminge suggested. That is another way to ensure the forum progresses and evolves

I guess our definition on something being 'discussed' as opposed to shot down in flames differs......

How about a rubbishing the truckies who drive other cars brand while listening to the police choir cycling album section.

It would be very small but cover all areas.....

Realistly, this is a FORD FORUM, not a forum on everything for people who may of may not have some smattering of interest in Ford, that is Ford motor vehicles not the diet pills from the 70s or creek crossings in New Zealand.

It is becoming a bit obvious that this forum is, for some people, the centre of the known universe and maybe they should go out and smell the flowers or take a drive in their car or talk to a real live person or anything except type on their computer.

N.B. I am not describing anyone in particular just what I perceive to be a bit of a growing trend.

Question

Annywhoo....back to the poll. What was it about again?

Something about equal pay for monkeys in silks riding greyhounds, I think.

Oh no, the Music! That's right.

Whack it in a forum called 'The Booth' or not.....
