Hi,
Thinking of putting racing stripes on my ST, thinking either satin/matte black or do I match my wheels and go dark grey? thoughts? and good places in eastern Melbourne to get them done? My ST ST pic off net with stripes I want

I reckon either option, the matte would look quite understated (in a good way) but personally reckon the dark grey would look tops

a mate did matte black side stripes on his black XR5 and they looked good, but personally i'd go with the grey for a bit of contrast

Tough choice, I think either would suit the car very well. From the experience with my own car, I was very happy getting white wheels to match the stripes, so I think I would probably favour the dark grey for the same effect.
I got my stripes done at sign-o-rama in boronia. This was about 5 years ago. The stripes on the bonnet in particular as very worn now and needing replacement. Tho I *think* coloured strips particularly metallic colours tend to be thinker and last longer.
