If this has been dealt with before my apologies
but, what can be done if you have an Iphone 4.0 which when plugged into the Ipod connector of an '08 FG Falcon will give 'Ipod not supported' message? It will still play songs and the phone can be paired to the blue tooth system. Any help appreciated.... |

Will need the iCC update. Ford did it to both my FGs and it fixed the problem.

I had same problem. Ford updated software left right, centre, Turned out to be faulty iPod module. Was replaced under warranty in my case.
I'd suggest buddy up with someone with FG and iPod and do some testing yourself if you haven't warranty left. The module is in the console, pull it upright to remove it, use force to do so, try swapping it over.

You can not swap over bluetooth/ipod modules/icc/clusters in FG Falcons. They are all vin locked to cars and must be reprogrammed by ford in order to make them work again it's not a plug and play job anymore. As other people have said it needs a software update and if you ford dealer is telling you there is no update they are full of ****.
